ATA Attends NCAA Semi's in College Station
Nearly 40 ATA players, parents and coaches attended the semi finals of the NCAA team tournament in College Station on Monday, May 18th.
Most of them dressed in their burnt orange ATA gear to support the UT Longhorns who were making a surprise appearance in the semi's after upsetting 2 time defending national champion and #4 seed Georgia in the quarters.
Our players got a chance to see some excellent tennis and some high drama with several matches coming down to just a few critical points. USC defeated UT 4-1 and in the other men's semi-final match Ohio State def. UCLA 4-3 in a deciding 3rd set with both players cramping! In women's NCAA action, Duke def. Georgia 5-2 and Cal def. Notre Dame 4-2.
