ATA Coaches Currently Competing in National Event
Austin Tennis Academy Coaches Brian Notis, Trey Phillips and Estevam Strecker are currently competing in the 30’s National Hardcourts at Westwood Country Club.
Trey Phillips teamed up with friend Butch Hayes, receiving the number one seed in the doubles draw. They are set to face their first opponents today, 3/16/09, at 3 p.m.
At the opposite end of the doubles draw, Notis and Strecker linked up and are seeded as the number two team. Their first match will be today at 3 p.m. as well.
Notis also entered the mixed doubles draw with partner, Julie Thu. They earned a first round win 7-5, 7-5, over Freeman/Garvin, with their next match set for Monday at 5 p.m.
The tournament will extend through Wednesday, so everyone is encouraged to come out and support the ATA coaches competing in this national event. For more information, including match times, go to the tournament web page by clicking this link.
