Coach Cristina Moros Promoted to Co-Director of Academy Program
The Austin Tennis Academy is proud to announce that Coach Cristina Moros has been promoted to Co-Academy Director. This promotion is effective June 1, 2007.
Coach Moros will be co-director at the highest level of the Academy program alongside USPTA Master Professional, Coach Jack Newman. Coach Moros has an understanding of the requirements for high performance junior players and ability for high quality coaching. She will take an active role in the development and curriculum of the academy program. Coach Moros will travel to National and ITF events with ATA players.
Coach Moros was co-director of the Roddick-Moros International Tennis Academy in San Antonio, Texas prior to arriving at ATA in September of 2006. Several top junior ITF players emerged from her program as well as a number of young touring professionals. She will continue to bring this valuable experience to the ATA academy program and players.
Since arriving at ATA, Coach Moros has made an immediate impact in the ATA program. Her hard work and her passion for excellence attract students who strive to succeed. Many of her students have qualified to higher levels of the Texas and National standing since her arrival.
