Saunders and Offerdahl play USTA Spring SuperNationals
Congrats to Jill Saunders and Jeffrey Offerdahl for making it to the USTA SuperNationals for the Spring. The Easter Bowl is one of the toughest tournaments of the year to get into. Only 128 players in each age group from across the country get to compete in this prestigious event.
Jill won a round in the main before falling to #17 seed Brooke Bolander (who ended up being a ¼ finalist in singles and finalist in doubles). Jill also won a round in the main draw doubles with partner Stephanie Do from Dallas.
Jeffrey had his best national tournament to date with wins over the #44, #39 and #11 players in the country and a tough 4-6 in the third set to the #1 seed and #4 nationally ranked Emmett Egger. Jeff was one of the final 16 players in the tournament.
Congrats to both Jill and Jeffrey for their accomplishment in getting to Nationals.
