October Champ and SuperChamp Results
Champ Major Zone in Laredo
Matthew Sparks was the B14 champion, winning in the finals 6-2, 6-1 and moves on to SuperChamps.Jessi Waite was a main draw finalist in G16, having her best Champ tournament ever.
Caleb Bohan was a main draw semifinalist and is very close to superqualifying.
Shannon McLellan was a quarterfinalist, losing 6-7, 6-7 and shows herself ready to move on to SuperChamps soon.
Eliot Blatt was a quarterfinalist, losing a tough two set match.
Daniel Wang posted his first main draw win in champs and lost in 3 sets in his second match. Emotional control continues to improve and when Daniel gains mastery over his emotions completely, he will be a tough SuperChamp player.
Andrew Levitan and Greyson Brilliant battled it out in an all ATA B12 conso final on Sunday afternoon. Both played fantastic, solid, competitive tennis with Andrew coming out on top winning in two tie-breakers.
