Weekend tournament results

This weekend the ATA had players all over Texas (and in NYC) playing in tournaments. Here is an update on the results:

Round Rock ZAT

Maggie O’Mera G12 Champion (qualifies to Champ G12)
Brandon Kivlin B12 Runner up (qualifies to Champ B12)
Conor O’Mera B12 Runner up
Ian Kocher B12 Semifinalist
Huny Hoghooghi G12 Consolation Champion
Sled Allen B12 Consolation Runner Up

Champ Major Zone in Clearlake

Este Kaufmann B14 Champion (qualifies to Superchamp B14)
Matthew Sparks B14 Runner Up
Brittany Brewster G12 Consolation Champion

Excellence in Richardson

The Excellence in Richardson was rained out on Sunday, but not before Jeffrey Offerdahl pulled off one of the most amazing comebacks ever witnessed. Jeff was down 0-5 in the third set and came back to win 7 straight games to win the match and advance to the semifinals of the main draw. Josh Hagar won his first match in B12 excellence and then lost his second. Cameron Relic won his first match in the qualifying and lost his qualifying match to the main draw.

US OPEN New York City

Ashley Weinhold and Donald Young lost in the Open Mixed doubles to Nathalie Dechy and Fabrice Santora 2-6, 3-6. Ashley won her first and second round in the USOPEN juniors and lost her third round today. She has won in her junior girls doubles and plays again today.
