Jeffrey Offerdahl Wins Nike Tour Regional Finals
This weekend the Austin Tennis Academy hosted the Nike Tour finals. The Nike Tour is a series of local and regional tournaments for 12 & under and 14 & under players. The tour culminates in the national finals held at Stanford University, the winner of which will travel to France to represent the USA in the world finals.
ATA's Jeffrey Offerdahl (currently #147 in boys 14 & under in the US) was the Regional winner for Boys 14 & under. Jeffrey defeated Shane Vinsant (#37 nationally in Boys 14s) in the finals 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.
Along with a nice Nike watch as a prize, Jeffrey wins an expense paid trip to Stanford for the National finals.
