Update on ATA-Sponsored Ethiopian Water Wells
Our special friends, Donna Berber and Tameru Abaseba, will be visiting the Austin Tennis Academy tomorrow on February 21st from 6:00-6:30 to give everyone an update on the ATA-sponsored water wells being dug in Ethiopia.
As you know, Donna Berber, is a founder of A Glimmer of Hope Foundation and the parent of ATA players, Ryan, Shane and Jake. Tameru heads the Addis Ababa office and oversees AGOH's operations in Ethiopia.
For those not aware of ATA’s water well project undertaken earlier in the fall, over $27,000 was raised by the students, families, and coaches.
These contributions were enough to build approximately 9 water wells to provide this essential element of life to those in need.
