Kate Cahill Honored With Inaugural "Dig In and Climb Out" Award

Thanks to Coach Trey Phillips for reviving an award used by the University of Texas Coach Dave Snyder. We will be awarding monthly the ATA Dig In and Climb Out award for the player who demonstrates the ability to come back in a match.

The first award goes to Kate Cahill. In her last tournament, Kate was down 0-6, 2-5 and came back to win 7-6, 6-1 in the second and third sets. She successfully fought off 5 match points in the course of the second set.

Great job Kate.
