Skating costs will be provided so please bring a $10 donation for A Glimmer of Hope - ATA Giving Well.
The players of the Austin Tennis Academy are having a skating party to raise $3,000 to drill a well for an Ethiopian village through A Glimmer of Hope Foundation. Waterborne diseases are one of the leading causes of death and are the single largest killer of infants, claiming the lives of thousands. Families are forced to draw their water from springs which are polluted with waste, and are breeding grounds for parasites mosquitoes, and malaria. The new well will relieve women and children of the daily grueling task of fetching water - which can take up to six hours a day, and involve walking many miles with a heavy load. This ATA Giving Well will help many people and will benefit every aspect of their lives.
