Allstar Program

The Allstar program is for children ages 5-9 with the goal of introducing the FUNdamentals of tennis along with athletic skills. The Allstars meet 3:30-4:30, Mon, Tue, Wed and Thur. You can sign up for one day or up to four days. Pricing: $85/month for 1 day, $150/month for 2 days, $200/month for 3 days and $250/month for 4 days.

Coach John Schoenmakers (that would be Show-en-mockers) will be the head pro for the allstars program. Here is a little bit about him.

He began teaching at McFarlin Tennis Center in San Antonio. There he was put in charge of their entry level program: Scoop It Up. We will be hosting a Scoop It Up program again this year. After teaching at McFarlin for 4 years, John traveled to Barcelona, Spain where he worked at the Sanchez/Casal Academy. There he worked with a lot of elite players, but during the weekends, he worked with a lot of their "up and comers". John learned a lot about the development of younger children, while still managing to have a great time with them!! After Spain, came South Florida where Coach John worked for Tennis Corporation of America and was hired on as the Adult Director, and director of the "Mighty Mites" program.

Coach John says about Allstars this year:

We will work on the basics of tennis including eye-hand coordination, footwork, contact of the racket to the ball, and we can't forget, HAVE FUN!!!
