Two Seniors Pen Intent Letters At Signing Ceremony
Coach Newman then introduced Hunter, and explained what about him made him successful in junior tennis, and how the same qualities will lead to success on the college level as well.

Hunter then gave a speech, focusing on his gratitude for his family and teammates and the staff at ATA. He gave a special thanks to Carol Hagar and the ATA College Prep teaching staff for guiding him during his time there. Hunter then signed his letter of intent.
Next, Coach Newman introduced Brooke. Coach Davis took the floor as her primary, and spoke about her distinguishing qualities, and how he came into her life as a coach at a seemingly fortuitous time. He then turned the floor over to Brooke. She gave special thanks to each of the coaches, as well as her family, for the support they have given her. She too, then signed her letter or intent.

After Brooke and Hunter, as well as their parents, had signed the official documents, it was time to cut the cakes, and mark the end of the 17th college signing ceremony in the history of Austin Tennis Academy. Check this article tomorrow for copies of Brooke and Hunter’s speeches, and check the ATA Facebook page for plenty of pictures!
