Ashley Weinhold Spain Update

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to stop in and give you guys a little update. I've just been practicing the last couple days and getting some sets in and trying to stay on top of my fitness. I'm trying to be smart with how much I'm practicing and resting etc. so that I recover fully from being sick and can be relatively fresh for my last tournament. I'm feeling a lot better, I still have a sore throat and cough, but I can deal with that. Today I went over to the courts in Benicarlo where my next tournament is. I got a good practice in and hit some on the backboard. They have 6 courts here, they are using 4 for matches and 2 for practice. They are in okay condition, similar to last week I guess. We're using Roland Garros Dunlop balls this week which is different from the past two weeks which was Dunlop Fort. I'm not too fond of either because they feel so heavy and fray pretty quickly, oh well. Today I also found out that main draw singles and doubles doesn't start until Tuesday/Wednesday which I'm happy about though. It gives me an extra day to practice on the new courts. So I'll let you know when I find out who and when I play my 1st round of singles and doubles. I have to go sign in for doubles now, I'm playing with Karolina Kosinska from Poland this week, I think we may be the #1 seeds, but I'm not sure yet. I hope everyone's having a good weekend.
