Ashley's Thanksgiving in Spain

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I hope everyone is having a great day. I am very thankful and grateful to be
here in Spain and having the opportunity to pursue my tennis career. It wouldn't
be possible without my family and friends support. I hope many of you are able
to spend some quality time with family and friends today. Today is a day when
I really wish I was home to enjoy all of the festivities. We are turkey-less over
here...we searched around town but didn't have any luck. We ended up having
steak and veggies for dinner which was pretty good, but it definitely wasn't home
cooked turkey with all the fixings! I won't be home soon enough to enjoy any
leftovers either so I guess I'll just have to wait till Christmas to have a feast of my
own. Enjoy!

Once again I'm writing way too late at night so just a quick update. We won our doubles today 6-2, 4-6, 10-6. It was an up and down match...my partner and I didn't play our best, but we stepped it up in the end. We got down 0-4 in the 3rd set breaker and fought back strong to get the W. After my match I went straight to the practice court to clean up some things with my dad and finish up with some fitness. We play the semifinals tomorrow afternoon not before 2pm against a team from Morroco. Keep wishing us luck! Talk to you tomorrow! Gobble Gobble ; )
