Ashley Weinhold Spain Update

Hola!

It's been a few days since I last updated you guys. Coach Cristina and I did some sightseeing last weekend during our last two days in Mallorca. We saw some unbelievable views from the tops of mountains overlooking the Meditteranean Sea. I took lots of pictures! We spent our last night in Palma, the capital and did plenty of walking around all over the city, it was a bit ridiculous actually. We have some good stories from it though. I've been in Barcelona training at the Sanchez-Casal Academy since Tuesday. We've been drilling in the mornings for 2 1/2 hours and playing sets in the afternoons. I've been learing a few new things in regards to footwork and positioning that I will continue to work on here and back home. Coach Cristina left yesterday morning to go back to Austin and my dad just arrived today which I'm excited about. Dad and I will drive to my next tournament in Vallduxo on Saturday. I'm not sure how long the drive is, but it shouldn't be too far. I'm in the main draw, so I will start next Tuesday. I have to go do my fitness and weights now so I'll catch up with you guys a little bit later.
