Ashley Weinhold's Day 13

Hola,

I am proud to report a win today. I took down the #3 seed, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3. I got off to a slow and shaky start in the 1st set. But I found my range on my shots, increased my energy level, had a postive attitude, and showed more emotion than usual. After the first set I thought to myself that I wasn't going to let the same thing that happened last week happen again. So I stepped it up and stuck with a strategy I found that worked. The last two sets were a battle with long physical points and I pulled it out. I hope to carry over the same attitude, intensity, and energy level I found today when I was down into my future matches from the start.

Tomorrow I will play singles and doubles. I play Cristina-Mandlina Stancu 2nd up after 10am. Then I play doubles after suitable rest, not before 2pm according to the schedule. I will keep you guys posted. Adios!
