With many of the more experienced players still competing at the ITF in Waco with Coach Newman, the rest of the Academy group was led by Coach Davis, Coach Strecker, Coach John and Coach Brandon. Take a look at todays action below.

Coach Davis and Coach John spoke to their group about serve technique. They were communicating exactly how to freeze the finish after serving, and each decided to demonstrate and see who could stand firm.

Coach Strecker spoke to his group about defensive court positioning when being attacked.

Coach Brandon worked with his group on movement 'inside the circle' in a cross-court rally. Here, Ela demonstrated how to move forwards and backwards to catch the ball in her strike zone while always moving back to the middle between shots.
