At Austin Tennis Academy, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of progessive tennis training strategies. The QuickStart program, including modified equipment and courts, is a major part of this effort. This month, both the USTA and the ITF changed their rules to where all 10 and under competition will use smaller equipment, rather than adult sizes. Your child can now gain competitive experience with a format that meets his or her size and strength.

Times / Costs

All tournaments will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday and will cost $15 per player.

Format

The QuickStart tournaments will be a 2-hour team format that includes both singles and doubles competition. Players do not need to enter as part of a team. All matches will be played on 36’ and 60’ foot courts, using low compression tennis balls.
